- i said hey! i said ho! i said hey ho, hey there, hey, hello!
- very up and down week!
- i had a great cycling session on friday. i am learning to cycle, it is a slow and non-linear process for my maybe dyspraxic, definitely unused to movement body, but being out in the woods was lovely even in the rain. i have more faith i'll eventually be able to cycle these days! one of these days i will go on a cycling holiday!
- i decided against posting more to YouTube, at least in terms of tech ethics advocacy stuff, it feels too hypocritical and weird to me. i might post sewing stuff on there if i hit a stride with it in terms of consistency, but i think all my tech related rambling will be on this blog and maybe a podcast.
- speaking of podcasts, if you're interested in chatting about where you hang out when you're not on the corporate web (aka instagram, facebook, tiktok, twitter, youtube, threads, and others i am probably blanking on) then get in contact, it'd be so cool to chat! i think it's gonna be called web wide wander, but if you have a better name suggestion i'm all ears. partly cos of the web wide wanderer, partly cos so many people haven't heard of rambling.
- i was just about to tell you what i started reading after saying last time i'd report back when i've actually finished books. so keeping it schtum. 🤐
- substack is out again, for reasons. if you were subscribed to my sporadic newsletter already you will have been moved over, otherwise i'm now hosted on melonland!
- been trying to learn more about writing craft, if you have any recommendations for becoming a better essayist, non-fiction writer or blogger, i'm all ears.
- i've been eating quorn nuggets, ham sandwiches, chocolate abominations (non-derogatory) with jelly beans and popping candy and an abundance of pasta. i've been drinking so much water, hot spiced cordial and sweet cocktails. been listening to my birthday playlist a bunch, done a bit early. it's also on qobuz if you have it.
